2.3 WatchingNetworkActivity

Make sure that you are connected to an active network.

♦ You can watch network activity or incoming network packets by typing

watch-net-all:

Note – The network speed is the same as the speed of the hub to which your

system is connected. See Chapter 3, Section 3.6, “Post-Installation Procedures

(Optional)” for more detailed information on speed selection.

Whereto Proceed

• See Chapter 3, “Installing SunFastEthernet Adapter 2.1 Software On Solaris

2.x Systems” if your system is running Solaris 2.3, 2.4 or 2.5.

• See Chapter 4, “Installing SunFastEthernet Adapter 2.1 Software On Solaris

1.1.1 and 1.1.2 Systems” if your system is running Solaris 1.1.1 or 1.1.2

(SunOS versions 4.1.3_U1 and 4.1.4).
