Jumbo Frames With Trunking 1.3

When using jumbo frames with Trunking 1.3, you must explicitly enable jumbo

frames on each link participating in the Trunk.

▼ To Configure Jumbo Frames Using ndd

1. Bring down and unplumb the interface.

2. Set the instance number:

Setting ce Driver Parameters

You can set the ce device driver parameters in two ways:

■ Using the ndd utility

■ Using the ce.conf file

If you use the ndd utility, the parameters are valid only until you reboot the system.

This method is good for testing parameter settings.

% ndd -set /dev/ce instance 0

% ndd -set /dev/ce accept-jumbo 1

% ifconfig ce0 plumb xx.xx.xx.xx up
